I just want a family picture!!

I just want a family picture!!

So trying to get a family photo can be painful in my household. Ben has a hatred towards this type of activity. You would think I am trying to make a YouTube video of me plucking out his nose hairs but no, I just want a photo of the family. If I was asking him to stand on a bed pretending to fart he would be there in a flash!

Oh how I love this wonderful man. I admit, I did spring it on the family because I figured the less time everyone knows we are doing this the less time there is to feel so depressed about the torture I am inflicting.

We get to the spot.

Granted I was only expecting to spend 10 minutes tops because I am practical. We are standing there and the wind from Wyoming is shouting in our faces and Jack HAS to pee now! Of course.

Can you tell?

I am feeling rather frustrated.

I was a little short (sorry Ben) but told them we are snapping a few shots. Deal with it.

The tripod is in place and off the timer goes. This is what we got in about 1 minute.

They are so cute! I hear you about the horror of trying to get the family ready for a shot. James is way anti the whole thing. Yours turned out wonderfully. I wish I had your talent!

I feel your pain Jess! I've gone through the exact same motions and Aaron does the same thing.
You managed to get some decent shots though and at least everyone is looking at the camera. I love Lucas' face in the last one, his eyebrows shout 'what in the world are we doing and what is that thing we are staring at' :)

They are perfect! Nice work. Fred hates photo day too...not sure if I'd survive springing it on him though ;)

Lucas and his semi-scowl. Too cute. These pictures turned out great! The colors are perfect.

Cute! That Lucas has such adorable chubby cheeks...I want to squeeze them! How'd you get everyone to look at the camera? My problem with a tripod is that the boys look everywhere EXCEPT the camera!!
