Oh, what a beautiful Sunday!

Today was great! After a wonderful morning at church we went on another one of our famous drives up into the mountains. The sun was brilliant, its rays touched everything in sight. We were surprised to see so much snow in the mountains; looks like we will have a lot of run of this spring, which is great. I just hope there not too much flooding. We were lucky enough to see another moose scamper up the side of the mountain and settle down in the brush - totally cool!

When I first moved to America I found the mountains huge and odd. To me they looked like massive naked rocks casting shadows in my way. Now I love them! I believe the true beauty of the mountains is found when you are in them, exploring their intricate details. I love the simple wild flowers, the animals, winding creeks, dripping waterfalls, the fresh smell and the never ending sky. What beauties!

Yesterday my sister in law, Kim, was so kind to lend us some of Joshua's old toys. Jack's play time is now his very favorite time! She lent us a walker and Jack buzzes around the apartment bumping into everything.
Thanks Kim!!!

"The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is
to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with
the heavens, nature and God.
Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and
that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple
beauty of nature. I firmly believe that nature brings solace
in all troubles."
