Bunch of Blessings!

Sometimes it feels as though everything piles up at once. I am embarrassed to admit that it is during these times I am compelled to my knees frequently with a greater desire to know of God's mysteries for me.
The last two weeks have been full of deadlines. I was really apprehensive and nervous that things would be forgotten or poorly done but with God's help I did them all. I am thankful for blessing I have received lately:

  • I am healthy

  • I finished my choreography

  • I finished composing my music

  • Wrote several papers

  • Read two short books

  • Played with Jack

  • Helped friends I care for

  • The sun has been shining

  • Developed more of an appreciation for Ben's hard work at school and work

  • Cut out fabric pieces for three dresses

  • Got most of the costumes sorted for my choreography

  • Had bundles of energy to attend class and perform well

  • Got cheap deals at Wal-Mart

  • Good nights sleep

  • Developed good time management skills

It is only when we are challenged that the simple blessings taste so sweet.
It's good to take the time to be thankful:)

Exciting Presidents weekend!

I don't know much about the American Presidents but I am glad we get a weekend to celebrate them, this means a day off school. Sunday was very eventful, after worring all month about teaching Relief Society I finally did it. My lesson was about the Book of Mormon being the Keystone of our religion. Well, as I didn't have blocks to demonstrate the keystone arch thing, I thought that an interpretive dance would be nice but instead I decided to neither and just smile. The lesson went alright, no one threw anything at me so I think thats a good sign.
My brother and his family came over for dinner that evening. We had a lovely time chatting, eating, bathing the kids and playing a game of Setlers of Catan.

Sadly for me my brother won the game and got to sign his name on the box with all the other champions; I am not one of them:(

Monday morning we went up into the mountains with some freinds. We had a blast. The snow was crystling and the sky brilliant blue; the veiws were magnificent.

Monday night we spent dinner with my friend Lisa's family. Lisa lives round the corner from me, she is kind, brilliant and an incredible sewer. She is helping me with a sewing project for my dance concert tha I am in next month.

Five Star Sunday Drive

Today Ben, Jack and I took a lovely Sunday drive up Diamond Fork Canyon and it was AWESOME! WE were fortunate to see Deer, Elk, Moose and Turkey. I am so grateful for the beautiful creations God has provided for us.
