running through my mind...

running through my mind...

Lately, A lot of stuff has been running through my mind; like how I need to call a dear friend who just had a baby and email someone I admire and love and figure out how I can help my Jack Attack be more Jack and less Attack but life is busy and I spend my time having conversations like this;

Jack: I am ready to be wiped..............I am READY!
Me: Oh sorry are you pooping?
Jack: YES.
(How would I know this? ...I wipe)
Jack: What color?
(seriously?!)
Jack: is it green? I really want green poo
Me: No it is not green
(I want to vomit)
Jack: how to I make it green?
Me: Eat lots of fruit
five minutes later
Jack: can I have an apple?

I am so NOT excited to wipe the next time!

Most of my learning opportunities with Jack back fire in my face like the time I showed him photos of skinny starving African children to try to encourage him to be grateful for his food and eat it without threatening to vomit. He calls these children the children from the land of shrinking people. He thinks I am going to send him to the land of shrinking people and when he sees someone who is overweight he says, "They need to be shipped off to the land of shrinking people."

Oh, my dog can jump our 6 foot fence. Yes, my love decreased dramatically for her and I thought I was going to cry for an entire week until I got a shock collar; life is good now! Go ahead and judge me.

I have been working on a project with a couple of awesome ladies; it's a musical theatre summer program for kids 3-18. I am so excited to do this and a little nervous. How I am going to fit it into life? None the less I am as giddy as can be. Our blog: http://mytimetoshineworkshop.blogspot.com/ The workshop is happening this summer in
Littleton, Colorado!

I am a nap time dancer. An awesome and innovative dancer who I had the chance of going to BYU with came up with this awesome project. Basically, dancing stay-at-home mothers choreograph with each other, video it in their own home and share it. My technique is pathetic nowadays; it's embarrassing but I wasn't going to let my pride get in the way. My goal is to make dances about being me and living my life. Sounds electrifying huh? I have stopped doing my daily photos because I have been busy and I miss it.

These are some shots from our recent life
