My little Buddie update

Can I just say how much I love being a stay at home mum who isn't trying to do school at the same time. Ever since I officially finished school being a mum has been so much more enjoyable. I love my Jack Attack!

Now, do I have some funny stories to tell about my handsome little guy....
  • We were at church singing the opening hymn and just after the song finishes Jack looks up at me and says, "great job singing mum." HA! Cracks me up because whenever I sing in the car he tells me to stop and be quiet, I guess he likes church hymns.
  • Jack still hits...Well my friend suggested putting lemon juice on his tongue as a punishment. I did. He looked and me and with a huge smile declared "DELICIOUS!" I also tried soy sauce and he asked for more.
  • When my sweetheart was out of town in Orlando for training I was home with Mr. Jack. Jack was especially intense one day. I had put him the bath as I was at a loss what else to do with him. He was crazy! I left the bathroom to gain some sanity. On entering the bathroom I saw Jack pouring a bucket of water onto the floor. The bathroom was flooded. I think my heart rate increased more than is healthy. On my hands and knees try to clean up the mess. I start singing "I am a child of God" to feel peace as Jack pours water over my head. Some much for peace. Now I can laugh about it, at the time I cried.
  • I took Jack to see a house that was for sale. The carpets had just been cleaning and he went pee pee in the corner of a room on the floor. When I figured out what he was doing I freaked out. All he could say was "oh no! Look I pee pee."
  • Last night I asked Jack if he wanted ice cream or a cookie. He said "Ice cream"- good choice. After finishing he looked up at me and sweetly asked "cookie?" wink wink "no Jack you already had your treat but you can have a drink milk or water?" Jack replies "Juice?" wink wink, I say "milk or water" looking defeated Jack say "OK milk." I give full points for effort.
  • Jack say "u huh" to everything right now. I love it.
  • A couple of weeks ago my friends and I took our kiddos to Garden of the Gods. As we were enjoying a picnic we looked over to where the boys were playing to see them with their pants around their ankles peeing. We laughed really hard!

I love reading about Jack's antics!
I am glad to hear motherhood is more enjoyable when you are 100% there. I will be a full-time mum in January and look forward to the less structured time with my kiddos.

I really loved this post. Jack is just so funny. And I think I woke the neighbors because I laughed so hard when I read about Jack peeing on the newly cleaned carpet.
